What is Voice Answer?
Voice Answer is an assistant that works on iPhone, iPad and Android devices. You can ask it
questions on any topic, either by talking to it or write, and it will answer you in a clear voice.
Voice Answer is the professional sister to 'Voice Ask', which has been developed by us earlier.
Voice Answer uses a different knowledge base and provides information that has more depth and
can be fully counted on.
How does it work?
Voice Answer will wait for your question, either spoken or typed (practical when your environment is noisy).
Voice Answer will then display the question, and then connect to relevant sources on the internet to look up
the answer. One main source is Wolfram Alpha. Depending on the answer, additional information will be presented:
images relevant to the answer or associated topics.
The answer will be presented and spoken out by ‘Eve’, your Voice Answer assistant. Previous answers will be stored,
you can set the number of answers in 'settings'.
You can also enable the chatbot feature. You can then have a discussion with Eve on any topic. Don't expect her
answers to be 100% correct though.
What can it do?
Voice Answer is strong in certain topics. Some examples :
- Text: 'Send text to George I will be late'
- Email: 'Email John Let's get together this week.'
- Call: 'Call mom'
- Translation: 'Translate I would like to go now into Spanish'
- Play songs on your device: 'Play music by Adele'
- Reminder: 'Set reminder to 5 pm'
- Social media: 'Post to Facebook This is great', 'Tweet I am going home now'
- Search: 'Google this','Wiki that'
- Location: 'Where am I?'
- Places: 'Where is the nearest bank?'
- Places & Geography 'Where is ZIP 60637?'
- Mathematics: 'Integrate sin x dx from x=0 to pi'
- Units & Measures 'U.K. men's size 11 shoe in Japanese size'
- Money & Finance 'What is the Apple stock price'
- Dates & Times 'What is the current time in Tokyo?'
- Current Weather 'What will be the high temperature today?'

Who is Eve?
Eve is your Voice Answer assistant. She has a positive attitude and will try to
look up all information you require. You can also just decide to have a general
chat with her. She has some strong feelings about herself and beings with artificial
intelligence. Don’t insult her for being just a computer program, she considers
herself to be more than that..
